I,m not sure if this is the correct forum.
When you receive a nuisance call can you jam their telephone line by not hanging up after the call finishes?I know playground stuff but satisfying

Jamming their phone? I'd like to jam it down their throats!
We get up to 4 a day, telling us about Windows scrappage, wanting to deep clean our oven, scam us as our internet is compromised or just silent calls that hang up.
They usually happen when I'm at the other end of the house or half way through something that I cannot really drop. Nearly broke my wrist the other day rushing to the phone and tripping over a chair leg.
We are supposed to be on the TPS so rang BT yesterday to complain and they've added us to another list. (probably a list of moaning minnies).

Got a call blocker with answer phone myself. If it is important they will leave a message. Not sure you will get them when they are spoofing numbers. I have been getting a lot lately, TPSlisted as well. If I don't recognise the number, I let it ring to the answer phone. Almost always the ring off as soon as the answerphone kicks in.

Number is added to blocker and reported to BT. Slowly getting back to normal.

I'm a child too. biggrin It's all about changing your mindset and instead of being annoyed - have fun!

If I get a sales call I asked to be removed from their list. Now I know in the real world that will never happen with mid market and less than reputable companies. Sales agents are told by their bosses to say you will be removed but not actually do it. If they call again I tell them that I'm going to call them 10 times minimum for each time they call me. I have unlimited and know not to call premium or 07 follow me numbers. On the toilet? I'll call them. Sitting in the car waiting for Vikingette? I'll call them. Waiting for a train? I'll call them. Best bit is asking agents of the same sex for some man-fun.

When the same sales agent takes your call for the tenth time that day and they've lost sales, they tend to take notice. Petty but fun.
