Can I borrow your computer?

Not a Firefox fanboy but I'm intrigued to know why it's died.

I blame Trump.

Will it start in safe mode? Try holding down the shift key while starting Firefox. Also check it is not already running in task manager (if it is then kill it)

If you are running Malwarebytes (paid for) and an antivirus program, try turning off 'web protection' in Malwarebytes. You will prbrbly need to restart your PC after doing this.

Hope this helps

Type 'about :support' in to the address bar and hit 'refresh Firefox', it'll reset all settings and disable add ons, let it do its thing and it'll give you a popup to restart Firefox - see if that works.

Edit - just realised you're no even getting that far! Try opening it from the app list instead of the shortcut?

Certainly sounds as if Firefox is losing the argument with some AV/firewall/protection program.

Won't start in safe mode, not running in task manager, no change to AV or ports etc.

Chrome and Edge work fine.

Seems to crash at the splashscreen stage.

Maybe a graphics problem?

Weird.
