I let my partner upgrade her phone every two year’s and I get the cast off using a Giffgaff sim.

One small issue I’m having is with Safari. Occasionally a web page won’t attempt to load. Just a white screen. If I double click the home button, swipe the Safari app up, then reopen the app the page will load.

Any ideas? Happening a few times a day now.

Have you cleared all open pages, closed apps, then restarted the phone? You might just be filling the RAM.

Yes to the above. Normally only have a few apps open at one time. Always swipe up from the home button. Happened from day one of me having the phone. Wife never noticed it. Phone was fully reset between users.

App switching doesn’t work like that. The app’s state is suspended to disk when you switch - not stored in RAM. It’s a common misconception but leaving apps ‘open’ is actually more efficient. Same with browser tabs.

Yes have an Oso tank already. Super, so looks like I’m sticking with a system boiler.

Last questions. Is a filter, ie Magnaclean worth installing?

Also. The current boiler is 24kw. Would it be beneficial to upgrade to a 30kw? Cost wise at install it seems negligible.

You might need to pop into an Apple store to ask that question.

Maybe not, but on the rare occasion I’ve suffered the OP’s issue, doing all I said sorts it.
