Not sure where it'd be fitting for me to ask this.

I'm after an android app that I can use for exchanging various items. files, notepad bits, images. you name it. Something i can sync between my phone/mobile so that when needed I can pull up the info on my mobile, and if I want i can copy and share to people.

I previously used ever note, but are there any other worthy mentions??

This was great years ago before I knew about whatsapp web messenger. I could make notes on my laptop, dump it easily on ever note, then send it to someone on whatsapp. or i could sent it to someone on another app that doesn't have a windows/desktop version.

sharing files isn't much of a big deal. I mainly want to share lists/links etc.. so some sort of notepad.

Google Docs, Sheets etc? Easily accessed on multiple devices and can be shared if required.

If I want to make a very brief note to self I create a draft email in Gmail or add a calendar entry if it is time dependent.

Dropbox, or maybe even telegram?

I have a WhatsApp "group" with just me in it for links and notes, but telegram can run on pc too, so may set that up at some point....

+1 I use it across Android, Win 10 and iPad. Share notes, pictures, hyperlinks, screen-grabs etc. It's great.

A decent widget is Push Bullet. I mainly use it for sharing stuff from my desktop when I am browsing to my phone this can be shared onwards. Mainly use it for sharing links. https://www.pushbullet.com/apps

For lists I use Google Keep.

That's a lot more practical than creating a draft email with notes in it!

Google keep is indeed brilliant for what you want.

I even discovered Keep has recently been integrated into Google assistant and smart speakers, I added a note to myself by voice while driving and then had my Google Nest Hub read out the NJ it's when I got home.

Oooo, I've been using Samsung Notes on my phone, which has a windows 10 app that can access notes from the pc, but Keep looks like a much better idea!

Microsoft ToDo.

You can also allow friends/colleagues to update specific lists. Ideal for arranging nights out.

OneDrive is one of those apps that seems to love hogging resources on PC. First thing I do is disable it.

Can you use this to share with other people who don’t have an O365 license?

Yes, No need for O365 at all.

BUT - I've just checked and you can only attach images to personal lists, not shared lists, so it doesn't meet your requirements.

It is great for maintaining shared lists with friends and colleagues though.

Try it in your browser - no need to download the application. https://to-do.microsoft.com/

ETA: I've just checked and it *is* now possible to attach files to shared tasks. Sorry if I misled you: https://www.onmsft.com/how-to/how-to-attach-a-file...

There is also Google Keep - which looks to do more or less the same thing: https://www.google.com/keep/
