Best GoPro or equivalent option?

[ayliahelectron]

Hiya, I'm going skiing in January and am looking for a GoPro or similar to use while I'm there on the slopes. Can anyone recommend a good priced product that I can mount on my helmet? Also, are mounting kits all the same or are some better than others? A bit dubious of mounting a camera with an adhesive pad! Thanks!

Well, the latest go pro is the answer. Amazing image stabilisation will really help you out.

The image quality and stability on the latest GoPros is incredible.

I went go-karting with one on my head and the video is almost studio quality - 4k and very smooth.

I know bikers who use the adhesive pad and record video at well into three figures. They're bonkers strong!
