WiFi extender

Hi I have a T P Link extender that I plug into a mains socket and I also plug in an Ethernet cable from the main router, I then plug my sky q box into the extender via Ethernet and have WiFi for my iPad etc, problem is it has stopped working so I have no WiFi I my part of the house anyone know of an extender that has the same functions ie can get its signal via Ethernet cable
