Ac/dc adaptor query

AS regulars on here will know. i am not the brightest in the box regarding electrics

Need to get a replacement adaptor for theXma lights ( the plastic earth pin has broken)
The tech stuff on it reads

PRI 230-240 50hz ( i aM OK WTH THAT BIT!!0

SEC reads 24vDC ( i assume that is the output voltage) then 3VA ( is that the amps i need to look for before i delve into ebay?)

24v output at 3 amps?

Not quite, it's 24v & 3 watts (volts x amps or VA) so the current your PSU can supply is 3VA/24V or 0.125 amps. Most PSUs are specified in VA though so just look for a 24v 3VA (or larger than 3VA) one.
