Ipad - Forgotton Passcode !

Hi have an old ipad I've not used for 3 years. I decided to get it charged and see if would use again. Unfortunately I have totally forgotton the passcode.

So far online I seem to find you need to link the ipad to original PC it would set up on or something like that to enable access and then change of passcode.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain access to old Ipad?

Apple suggest if you cannot connect the device to the linked account via PC, that you contact Apple Support.

If you know your iCloud account email and password you could put into DFU and hard reset it but you would need these details before it’ll allow you to set it up as a new iPad again
