Waze and my iPhone GPS issue

Hi.

I don't usually post on here mainly because i am not a 'techie' !!!

I have an iPhone 6S on an EE contract.

I use Waze every day on my commute to work ....( only for the traffic issues !!!)

However, I recently went up to Scotland for the weekend and had issues with Waze: it would not work and came up with ' GPS not connected' or something similar. Obviously the speedometer function was not working either.

I tried downloading another version of Waze, but similar problem followed.

However, it did seem to come back on when I switched off the Bluetooth function, whether this was related I know not.

Is Bluetooth incompatible with the GPS function ?

As you can see from the above....I am not a computer techie !!!

Any advice welcome !

Sometimes restarting the phone solves GPS and network issues - hold down the power button until the slider appears and slide to shut the phone off. Wait 15 seconds and turn it back on.

Thanks for the replies.

I have done all of the above, but still having issues.

Beginning to wonder if it is the iPhone 6S antenna causing the problem ?

May look into that and see if it is a known issue.
