GiffGaff process

I just went onto giffgaff to order a bundle or whatever they call it and I put my name, email and address in and that was it they say the sim is on the way.

WTF. How do they know what size sim I need? What package I want to be on? How do I pay?

Just to add, I have never had a personal mobile before... I have always had one supplied by work. So the above may be really stupid questions to some of you!

You'll get a SIM with popouts for each of the sizes.

When you register the card, you'll have to add funds or choose (and pay for) a goody bag.

All will become clear when the SIM arrives.

And you can chose your package each and every month.

Next month - Basic package
Month after that you can go maximum package
Next month - basic again - or anywhere in-between.

Thanks all so I am up and running. Happy with the service so looking to swap wife onto giffgaff so request her pac code.
I use the link giffgafff sent me for "friends" to get £10 credit.

Her sim arrived yesterday and started the process. Then today another sim arrives, saying "heres a sim with £10 credit".

How does that work? I don't see the point in sending a whole new sim I just assumed they would apply £10 to my account?

Or is there someway to transfer it?
