AppleCare plus, worth it?

Weighing up the options for my new iPad Air. Doesn’t leave the house too often, however nearly snorting a whole cup of coffee over it did make me think earlier... worth it?

£69 for 2 years. Not worried about the extra year of warranty as it was purchased from JL and has that anyway, but is the accidental damage cover (£39 excess) a goer?

I never bother, but then my phone and ipad always live in a decent case.

Do you have accidental damage cover on your home insurance, and if so what's the excess?

Most bank accounts come with gadget cover as well these days?

Cheers, I don’t have the extended accidental cover but good shout. Theft would be covered.

I was asking as I’m sure there was an Apple exchange fee, although maybe this was for faults rather than accidental damage.
