Podcast to MP3 software

[Tyre Smoke]

Long one short, I have Spotify Premium and want to download podcasts to my waterproof MP3 player for while I am pounding up and down the swimming pool to lose the Christmas chunkiness.

I can't seem to find a legit (or not) way of doing this for free. Can anyone help?

I'm not all that bothered about the legality of it, I'm only going to download them to my own MP3 player then delete them.

Not possible they are encrypted from spotify.

Eta, there is a really bad way of doing it. Play the podcast and the loop the headphones socket to the Mic socket on the pc and record it! Would be crap quality and can only do it in real time though.

There appear to be a few applications on the web which will rip a Mp3 from Spotify, but they charge and I'm not sure of their legality and obviously don't want to mess with my Spotify account.

I can't see them working and I would also be worried about them containing Trojans etc

Try this from Abelssoft for free:

https://www.abelssoft.de/en/windows/multimedia/rec...

if it works, it's only £9

I've been using various pieces of their software for many years with no issues.

Thanks Simon, I'll give that a go.
