Google Chrome - opening 'Sign in' automatically

[strippier]

I use Google Chrome on Windows PC and I have my 'start pages' set to Bookmarks and Gmail.

Infuriatingly when it also opens 'Sign in -google accounts' automatically, more infuriating it does this 5 seconds after I have started typing in another page and changes the focus to itself....

Anyone help?

Can't help with your own problem but my on my son's PC he'll open up Chrome and at some point it will change to Yahoo.....
We've never had that search engine set up on that machine.

Perhaps his default search engine is set to Yahoo?

No, been through the whole set up as far as a numptie can anyway.
Default is google.
Even reloaded Chrome, worked good for a couple of days then off again.

Sorry OP for the thread hijack.
