I seem to have suddenly developed a problem with Powerpoint on my Apple MacBook Pro.
When i copy a photo to insert into a presentation the paste function under the Edit menu is greyed out and not available.
This happened without notice part way through working on a presentation. Can anybody help me to solve this issue? I have googled the problem and tried the "pboard" suggested solution to no avail.
Please help if you can!!

I would start by creating a completely new presentation and checking if you can insert images into that. If you can, try copying all the slides from existing deck into the new one the try inserting the image.

Also try saving the image and then inserting - Picture -> From File rather than pasting.

Does the same thing happen for all images or just the one?

Is the photo you’re trying to copy on actually on your MacBook or from something like Google images or cloud based?
