Google Search issue in Chrome

[worsy]

I have my search page set to google.co.uk and use Chrome predominantly. Some weeks ago I searched for a term and it now always appears in the url of any subsequent search. I've tried deleting all cookies and search history but no joy.

Anyone know how I can get rid?
