Plusnet Hub One and XBox One weirdness
Discussion
Had the Plusnet Hub One and XBox One for a few years, with Wifi connection provided by BT WholeHome wifi discs, and all has been good... Until today.
My son's XBox keeps going through a cycle of connecting to the wifi, then disconnecting. This repeats every 20 seconds or so. I've rebooted the router, the BT discs and the XBox more than once (and deleted and re-entered the network settings), but the cycle continues. An extract of the log below:
I've now also got an issue with the Hub One whereby the orange (or is it red) wifi light is lit on the front of the hub. This seems to show that there is no security on one or more of the wifi frequencies. In the router homepage, it says the 5GHz band is not enabled, but the 'enable' button on the homepage doesn't do anything....
Everything else seems to work just fine though. Any ideas?

In the interests of keeping him happy during lockdown, we put up with a long Ethernet cable snaking around the lounge and then into the garden room where his Xbox sits. Really want to get rid of it now though!
If I try to connect to WiFi now, be it from our BT Whole Home Wi-Fi, 4G dongle or iPhone hotspot, the XBox does not find any of the networks, so I suspect the wireless card was failing and is now screwed.
Has anyone replaced the Wi-Fi card on an Xbox One? There’s a great guide on ifixit https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Xbox+One+Wi-Fi+Board+... which makes it looks reasonably straightforward.
