I have a relatively high spec workstation that I can further upgrade as I see fit, Its a HP Z820 with the following spec:

Processor Type: Intel Xeon E5-2643 V2 (6 core, 12 threads) CPU @ 3.50GHz
Memory: 16GB DDR3 Ram
Storage: 2 x 500GB Hard Drives
Graphics: Nvidia Quadro K5000 4GB Graphics Card
OS: Window 10 Pro 64-Bit

Im going to ramp it up for S&G to have a decent amount of RAM (can take 256GB on one CPU) and looking at getting another identical CPU.

I could install Esxi on it or a Linux VM so I can do a bit of specialist Big data coding (tis what my company does), but wondering what else I can do with this and have some fun... I dont see the point of turning it into a gaming PC, so thats the only one out of the question.

If all else fails and I get bored of it I can put the RAM/CPU in it and flip for a decent profit.

Some specs for those that dont know it:

What you could do is you could replace HDD's with SSD's. No point throwing all that power at hard drive based system, it's 2020 after all.

The HDs and RAM are junked ASAP... not worth putting in the chassis except proving it all works
