TomTom for PDA - where from?
Discussion
Dad's got a HP iPAQ rx3000 and for his birthday we're going to get him a satnav kit. I've looked around and it seems the new TomTom system is well liked so I'm just after some advice as to what exactly I need and where to get it from.
I've seen this|http://www.handnav.co.uk/product_details.php?id=429 page and that seems what I need, is it?
I'm a bit lost here so any help would be appreciated!

Got mine from eXpansys.
Particularly, this gps receiver along with the relevant cable to connect to my ipaq. Also, TomTom Navigator 3.

Be careful who you buy from - there are some very dodgy dealer out there.
www.pocketgps.co.uk is a good source of info and reviews on suppliers.
www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk - bought a few things of these - seem to be good.
www.gpsforless.co.uk - recently found these - very helpful (and get extremelly good reviews on pocketgps.co.uk from customers. If i were you - i would try these guys 1st.

I chat on pocketgps from time to time and the speedcamera database is fantastic.
I used pdamods for my last one, and have just ordered my upgrad to TT5 after which I will be ordering a new bluetooth SiRF III receiver.
Was looking at getting one of these cheapy jobs.. how would it compare to your new one?

ED.
The one you have linked to in your first post are not the cheap ones, there are the official TomTom ones.
If you shop arround you should be able to find it a little cheaper, all be it without the official TT Bluetooth receiver. Although the first BT Rx that came with thier TT3 pack was pants!
Also I have been running TT2 so the upgrade offered by TT is well worth it, 59Euros and then a new receiver for £100ish as my compact flash version has just packed up.

Also ED,
To actually answer your question, the TT5 kit will come with all the hardware and software you need to make the organiser work, however you will need a car mount to hold it in place.
I have one of these and it is rock solid on the windscreen.

I understand Ed,
However you will still need the TomTom software or similar to be able to run it. The link also only seems to reffer to TT Mobile5 and Nokia phones rather than Ipaq and pocketpc organisers.
From what I have seen on the early releases of TT5 are prices of £120 ish for the software.
I would spend some time on PocketGPS as they have excellent reviews of both software and hardware.
Personally I have not seen a device with that chipset before, but I am not an expert my anymeans.
