Evening

If I have a [garage] that has electric connected to the main meter, would it be possible to transmit a broadband signal from my flat to the garage?

Prob c 50m from the flat to the meter (apartment block set up) then say 30m to the garage

Trying to do a little home study thing in my garage

Thanks for input

Thanks I'll have a look.

There's a lot of brickwork to get through so I don't know if the nanostation will work.

Try a decent Powerline set from Argos then return it if it doesn't work

Is the garage on a separate meter? If so then generally powerline broadband will not work.

If on the same meter you have a chance, but no guarantee.

I had success with a Powerline kit to my detached garage, which was some distance away from the house. However, both the garage and house were on the same meter.

Same meter but direct line into it rather than being on house circuit, if that makes sense

I have an old stable at the bottom of my garden and a TP-Link receiver plugged in there works with a IP camera. It's about 40 metres away I would guess. You can see the roof here:
