Router Recommendations?
Discussion
I am trying to get wifi to my garage, it is on the very edge of my iSP supplied router, and despite various wifi repeaters and powerline adapters attempts I'll be damned if I can simply get the extra 5m of coverage required.
So, having forked out £50-60 over the last 18 months trying to get a stable IFi signal, I am now thinking of biting the bullet and simply getting a more powerful router with batter WIFi range to get me the extra 5-10m required to give me a stable connection.
Budget of around £100 ideally, but a router with a decent interface, compatible with your average ISP and with maximum range!
Can anyone recommend preferred brands/models?
Mny thanks,

Mny thanks,
Have you looked at mesh systems? Here are a couple of recent threads:

Systems from Netgear, BT & Google are often mentioned:

The unifi line is one of the quickest and easiest access points to set up and manage. I highly recommend using the cloud key option.

Mesh was the answer for me when trying to use exactly the same thing.
My ISP router wasn’t up to much so I replaced it with a Netgear R7000 and loads of TP-link powerline, but it still couldn’t reach the garage.
I first tried Netgear Orbi when it first can out a few years ago, but it did nothing to improve on the signal I was getting. Having been assured that it had really improved, I purchased the same set at Black Friday last year and it is now excellent - broadband passed at full speed everywhere and very good transfer speed to my NAS.
It’s a bit more than £100 unfortunately, but I’m sure some of the cheaper mesh setups would offer similar performance.
