fast updatable form with AD security?
Discussion
Im a sql dev and been asked to collate coronavirus data on 160 sites, 2000 employees going off sick. HR have thrown 50+ excel sheets up into sharepoint, each secured to each brand via AD site managers. Normally I would use SQL SSIS to pull data and have time to clean/protect from failures but its excel and have a feeling the data quality will be super s
t esp date formatting
Any other options preferably in O365 stack that can be out in 24hrs? The "list" of sick staff will need to be updateable bu said AD users eg add return to work date. Plan is to show it in powerbi cheers

https://forms.office.com any use?
yes I know forms is a product but never used it before - didn't want to waste the morning messing round if its not up to the spec. Things like licensing? We use O365Happy to store in "forms" and pull the data nightly, Don't want to be holding the data in sql and worrying about row level security.
I don’t think you need licensing or at least it’s included with Office365 licensing, we have used forms for surveys and you can even enable users outside the organisation to complete the form anonymously, but by default it needs your azure ad creds to complete the form.
Give it a try with 2/3 simple questions and it will take you 5 mins to setup.
