Now this exchange server is virtual and has worked for donkeys years but I need to move it online due to company closing.
2 options I can see here.
1, bring the esxi server home and change my IP range to allow the emails to be forwarded to their phones. Some unanswered questions from from staff and the administrators.
I can manipulate my setup at home to mimic the one they had in the office without impacting me so much and mine is also close enough to just change the default gateway.
2, Off prem exchange and import the PST but they only want if for say 3 months so a year contract however small is a waste of money in these times and I need to make sure the domain name x 2 is crossed over, messagelabs have been paid for the 3 months and I can just change the IP of the inbound and outbound routes.
Apart for Microsoft anyone have experience of other exchange hosting companies?
I would prefer Off Prem so that I do not have to look after it anymore.
Thank you

Is it fully self contained i.e. SBS 2003 or with AD and DNS services installed?
You could probably find a small scale service provider who could provide you with a VM and the ability to upload your own existing disks, is it important enough for them to warrant spending any money on?
Thanks for the reply, I found something out yesterday that means they do not need it.You could probably find a small scale service provider who could provide you with a VM and the ability to upload your own existing disks, is it important enough for them to warrant spending any money on?
The server is a stand alone 2003 exchange VM with a DC VM also on the same microserver, but the need for the corporate email address is looking more and more that it has been used for social events (Cricket & Rugby) so I suggested to the finance person (The son) to convince him to use the personal address we setup for them years ago.
To be fair I could work it from here but I would like him to just let it go.
Thanks for all the replies,
Have a good but safe weekend.
