Ipad screen repair problems

[tight fart]

I had the screen replaced on my Ipad in the local phone repair shop just before lockdown and it has a large dead area,
I have to rotate it continualy whilst trying to type, I'm sure when (if?) the shop reopens they will do something but was
wondering if theres anything I could do to help matters in the mean time?
