Apple home sharing problem

Hello All
My other half uses her iPhone to stream music from my Apple library via home sharing to a Bose speaker using AirPlay 2.
However we have an intermittent problem where the track that she is playing will pause, and then the display on the phone and on the speaker will just scroll through all the other tracks on the album but remaining on pause and not playing anything.
The only solution appears to be a reset of the music app on the phone - but usually the issue will happen again shortly.

Any ideas?

I've never seen this happen, but have you considered using the Remote app to stream straight from iTunes to the speaker instead? I find streaming from the Mac much more reliable then streaming that a phone and then to a speaker.

Thank you for the suggestion - will give it a go & see what happens.
