Please can anyone 3D print me an item?
Discussion
That's a pain to print on an FDM machine that most people on here might have.
That part is perfectly suited to an SLS machine though. I'm happy to give it a go on my FDM when i get some time, but at present i'm flat out doing bits for face shields for the NHS.
Actual part cost is bugger all so you'd be better off ordering a few of each if they're likely to break again in future. The cost is in set up and cleaning of the print up as there will need to be support structure if using a normal FDM type 3d printer.

Thanks. I know nothing about 3D printers so appreciate your feedback. It's great to hear you're using your printer for the NHS too! Let me know when/if you get a chance to have a go at my item as I don't want to take you away from printing face shields. That part is perfectly suited to an SLS machine though. Googling what you wrote as a part name, aren't they available to buy? (£20)??
I haven't found anywhere to buy just the foot - without the leg too.Just to let you know that Ambleton has come up with the goods. He's printed a foot for me and posted it - free of charge. It arrived today and it fits really well. I'd just like to say thanks to him for doing this as I really appreciate the time, effort and money. It's really refreshing to know that there are people like him on this forum. Cheers!
