Win xp internet connection problem on Snap-on verus

Hi,just purchased a 3 year old Snap-on Versus scan tool.I connected to my wifi no problem,but,internet won't connect??
Little internet symbol on system tray shows a red X,wifi signal beside that shows as 'excellent'.
This is what i get when i open up internet explorer below,installed Firefox browser too and it won't connect,neither can i type in the search box of firefox??
