Up until a car accident at 8am this morning, where it got wrapped around my wife's face, I owned a fairly new Lenovo Ideapad 530s

Windows 10 in S Mode
10th Generation Intel Core i5 processor
256 GB PCIe SSD storage
USB 3.1 connector
802.11 a/c (1x1) WLAN & Bluetooth 4.2
Dual front-facing speakers
HP TrueVision HD Camera
Dual array microphone
HP Fast Charge
FHD IPS display

We were quite happy with it, the wife missed the bumped but happy with the size.

We only really do office work but were so happy with the power etc as it was so fast and seamless.

I didn't want a super dooper powerful laptop that got hot for no reason.

Anyway we paid just under 800 and since the insurance company of the third party will eventually be paying for it am happy to buy one.

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of something that might be a but better.

Cheers!

Luke.

Surface Laptop 3 is probably the best Windows machine out there at the mo. Could easily get the Surface Laptop 2 if the 3's £999 asking price is too much.

Last year I bought a laptop from PC Specialist. I specced it myself, and for £760 I got all the facilities I needed and at nearly $300 cheaper for one from PC World that didn't quite give me everything.
