Laptop buying help

[CanoeSniffer]

Hi, I was wondering if any clever souls on here could give me a little advice? I’d like to buy a laptop for file storage and video editing, ideally something that can handle the storage and edit of some HD stuff and not suffer performance wise. Also some data logging and mild ECU tweaking on AiM and Emerald software. If there’s overhead potential to run football manager that wouldn’t hurt either! I simply can’t seem to process (ha!) computer terms into performance, apart from some hefty file storage capacity reading the rest sort of leaves me none the wiser. I’m easy on physical size, and operating software, any windows OS I’ve used since 7 has left me infuriated but I appreciate I’ll probably have to adapt and overcome. Could be after a new or used model, any recommendations or a simple translation of what requirements I should look for from a used one to fulfil my needs would earn some virtual beers
