Anyone provisioning broadband at the moment?

To cut a long story short I moved house and my current provider despite being told beforehand disconnected the line and said they are not doing any new lines before June and have given me the date of the 19th.

However someone I know recently just got Virgin installed (which sadly isn't available to me), and a few people I spoke to say that some companies ARE provisioning.

I obviously only have their word for this so I'm opening it out, anyone on here had it installed recently where they have had to come out to the home? If so I may try someone else and tell my current provider to kindly shove it where the sun don't shine...

all providers except virgins own network use the openreach network and its them who arent going into homes.

Dunno if it'll work, but you could try asking if you have your own master socket and wire to outside installed if they'll hook you up?

Cheers, I looked on Sky's website and they are confirming its on hold till June. Thanks anyway, I didn't think there was any chance but when people talk and put ideas in your head....
