I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to buying rechargeable 18650 batteries.

I currently have 8 Fenix 3200mAh and use 4 for my torch. Originally I had 3 sets but 1 gave up the ghost, but collectively they have lasted around 3 years now. So I certainly cannot complain at their value for money. I wanted to buy some more as they have started to lose their charge a lot quicker now.

Id rather not spend £80 on buying new Fenix, so does anyone have any non OEM alternatives that will last equally as long?

Have a look on some of the recent posts on 'My New Torch' thread, there's always recommendations there (usually for Panasonics IIRC).

Off topic, but I have several torches that use 3 x AAA batteries (using rechargables give ~ 3.6V) held in a cylinder. Is there an equivalent rechargeable lithium alternative (~3.7V)?

I'm a vaper and only buy cells from https://www.fogstar.co.uk/ (code POTV20 gets 20% off and there is usually a Fogstar Friday promotion too)

He does 3500mAh own brand but they're £6.79 each - I'd suggest the Samsung 30Q at £4.45 before discount, 3000mAh but fairly high amp limit so should hold up well on battery life (try not to run them under 3.1v to preserve longevity) I've been using Samsung 25r for over five years, still have some that must be pushing four years old that charge and discharge perfectly well - due to postal restrictions a while ago, Fogstar had to send you a device that the cells were intended for, I got a cheapo multi function torch from them on two occasions, stuck two of the old Samsungs in them and put one in each car - more than good enough for free!

Edit - Ecolux have higher capacity 3500mAh 10a cells for around a fiver each https://www.ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk/by-size/18650-b...
