Hi everyone I’m having the bigger bundle with 200mb activated on Friday, but my tv is about 5m away from the NTL box in my house. Just looking for recommendations on which cable to use?

Which cable are you trying extend? If you just want to get the video/audio out of the box to the TV it looks like a 5m HDMI cable is what you need. If you're trying to get the box nearer the TV then that might be a bit harder.

Hi no it would be the coaxial cable from the virgin point in the corner of the lounge to the tv where I will be putting the tivo box.

Get someone competent (if you feel you are not) to run new, longer coax from the termination box outside to where you want the inside box to be. I had mine moved by an electrician last year. At the end of the day it's not magic: it's just coax!

I know mine is twice your length (fnaaaar) but I got this and it works fine. Came with all the necessary bits.

Are you already on Virgin and it's just a new box or is it a new installation?

If the former, the cable should run from the wall box to a splitter block, and then separate cables from the splitter to the modem and the TV box. You just need to replace the cable from the splitter to the TV box with a longer co-ax.

If it's a new install then the engineer should be able to run a cable for you when they put it in.
