Does anyone here know of a good grid control that is freeware and can be used in VB6?

MS Flexigrid wont do as I need to edit a cell directly and I dont want to have to use the hassle of having to stick a text box over the cell, and then stick the value in.

Cheers

Hmmm. Those 2 phrases don't usually crop up in the same sentence!

But seriously, you can write yourself some code along the lines you are suggesting quite generically and just re-use it whenever you need it again.

I've normally struggled to find stuff like this for free.

However lot's of this kinda stuff is still gonna be cheaper than writing it your self, try www.componentsource.com/ for starters.

Core blimey looking at the cost of those controls I think I will use the old tried and tested method of creating my own Active X control!!! Complete with moving text box
