Where to buy electronic components for head tracking kit
Discussion
Not sure if this is really the correct section, please move if in the wrong area.
Looking to build a head tracking kit (like trackir) but using open source software and cheap webcam:

Where do you recommed to get the electronic components from mail order at a reasonable price (ie not RS or expensive Farnell)?
I need some simple items including AAA 3V battery box with switch, resistor packs, 22awg wire, IR leds etc.
Any recommendations from where to purchase? Had a look on Amazon but delivery dates are wildly varied and hard to be sure materials are any good.
Many thanks,

cpc? Except cpc is actually part of farnell but they do appear to stock more hobbiest type stuff.
Why do you say RS and farnell are expensive? You get what you pay for and they don't sell junk.
other options are TME (tend to be good value but ship from europe), rapid online (I think I got the IR leds for my headset from them).

I have used Rapid for years https://www.rapidonline.com/ never had an issue, first used them in the early 80's. Bits were bigger then
