My EE contract recently finished so as a light user I decided to go for a sim only deal and wrongly or rightly I went with giffgaff!

My battery now seems to last forever compared with EE; same Android phone so just curious why that should be.

Do you tend to be in an area with better signal than you were with EE?

It's about the same if I'm honest; Mrs N has been on O2 for years and was one of the reasons I decided to go with giffgaff. I'm certainly not complaining; just trying to work out the logic behind it!

We’ll need to crack the phone open and replace the battery with some battery emulation + logging kit.
Oh, and we’ll need your old sim back for comparison.

Say, a weeks normal usage on each? You don’t mind lugging a trolley round with you at all times for a fortnight old chap?
