Apple Car Play not working

This is all I see.



With the little whirly thing going round.

It used to work fine then just refused to connect. My sons iPhone works perfectly but mine won’t. I’ve reset everything but it still refuses to do anything other than the picture above.

Help!

Have you removed the saved cars??

Mine did this for a short period of time - removed the cars and reset the head unit (also a Skoda) - been faultless since

I can’t get to any of the CarPlay options so can’t delete any cars. I just get the spinning wheel of despair.

Mine is a Skoda as well.

That should be fine then. These things can be temperamental, maybe try connecting it with cable (I'm assuming you connect wirelessly, based on the screenshot).

No, cable connection. And I’ve tried a few cables.

Thanks for the suggestions so far chaps. The main issue is that the phone seems to be locked in to the CarPlay spiral of doom and won’t allow me to reset anything. And as I said, even after a full phone reset (and all the hassle involved with that), it didn’t help.
