I'm trying to track down two things:

1> The cheapest basic smartphone package for a phone that will only ever be used for calls or text messages in an emergency.

2> The cheapest business package to have multiple (25+) basic smartphones that would only ever be used for calls and text messages on a daily basis.

Anyone know of any good deals or useful info?

Why are you wanting a smart phone if it is only for calls and texts?

First reaction is it lends itself to the the £10 dumb phone on a PAYG doesn't it?

Unless you need business billing but I'd expect you'd end up paying much more for some very basic requirements.

Full keyboard is needed, so that anyone and everyone can easily respond to texts messages etc.

£25 for the phone plus £10 credit that won't expire as long as you make a call or send a text at least once every six months.
