Intermittent Internet Connectivity on One Device
Discussion
I have a strange problem where one laptop loses its internet connection, showing the No Internet dinosaur in Chrome. All other devices work fine, which suggests it isn't a router problem.
I managed to solve it a few months ago by disabling all non-Microsoft services in MSConfig and disabling most of the programmes on StartUp, but now the problem is back.
I have checked the drivers on the wifi which is up to date and all the network adaptor settings are identical to my personal laptop, which works fine, with the exception of the IP address, which you'd expect.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, just re-read the post... it does sound like software if you solved it previously so check event viewer - does it ever work again when it drops out or not until a restart? Does the repair feature for the connection do anything?
My advice is to make sure windows is managing the connection and not to us the manufacturer WiFi software, only the driver.

Thanks. I will definitely check those and the card itself. My advice is to make sure windows is managing the connection and not to us the manufacturer WiFi software, only the driver.
It rights itself after a minute or two.
The irony is, but the time the repair connection has run the connection is back.
