Hopefully an easy one here if someone can help - I've googled it and hit a brick wall:

My daughter has an iPhone 8 and I have an iPad Pro - I've shared Minecraft with her (as I bought it on my iPad) and it shows up in her list of apps that I've paid for. However, it shows it as being £6.99 and needs paying for - I've removed and readded her account and it still shows as needing paying for. If I go through with the purchase will I pay for it again - If so, why?

I can't see any reason why it's done this - The only thing I can think of is that I bought it in 2017 but from my corporate account (which I paid for myself with my own credit card). If I have to pay for it again, I'll do that, but I've paid for it on Amazon, Apple on my iPad, Google and the Xbox four times (my xbox One, the kid's got it on their diskless One and on the 360 - two disks)

I'm a little stumped as I'm typically an Android guy and this doesn't make any sense...

Have you already setup your 'family' in iCloud? If you to that you can buy apps on your kid's IOS devices using a common iCloud account (yours) and also control access with screen time.

I think you should also be able to add your work account to the same family which might resolve your issue?

Sorted it - It was something obvious in that I just click the Cloud/Download icon in my purchases and not tapping through to it. Probably obvious to a seasoned Apple user though.

I'm happy with the Chinese government spying on me with my Huawei devices though smile
