Hi Guys
I posted last week about a decent upgrade to replace my ageing CCTV hard drive
Hikvsion seemed to be favoured, i have been looking at their bewildering range of hard drives on offer.....there is lot lol
I am going to use my current cameras at the moment which are around 7 years old but appear to be of decent quality they are analogue cameras four of them.
I may get an 8 channel model so i can add more cameras later on
I have often thought about the onsite backup hardrive, what if someone broke in and took the drive away with them ??
So i believe some Hikvision cameras can also back to a cloud service such a onedrive or google drive, has any done it this way and does anyone have any pointers on which models have cloud backup capability
Cheers

Giving away a couple of trade secrets...
Keep the failed unit plugged in and switched on in an obvious location, hide the actual recording unit safely out of harms way (loft is good)
For off site backup , we offer a service by manything, which uses a substream to store remotely, subscription service price is based on the number of cameras and the retention time
Finally, if you have analogue cameras, consider buying a hybrid nvr, then you can change to IP over cat5 or cat6
Good Luck
