Hi All,

Got a work O2 pay monthly sim card and a cheap burner phone (Alcatel) the phone only has 3G so I've put the sim card into another phone I have (Nokia 8110 4G) and its been working fine at home (calls/text and internet on Wifi) come out of the house this morning and realised it has no data connection.

Gone into the APN settings and there is 2, pay monthly and Pay as you go, selected both but nothing.

I've put the O2 sim card into the Alcatel , another Nokia (3310 3G) also my Pixel 4 XL and in both in gets data straight away, I've put my Smarty sim card into the Nokia and that also gets data. The 3310 and 8110 have a different OS (KaiOS on 8110)

Cant work out why it wont get data with the O2 simcard in, I've tried the preset O2 settings, set up new APN using details from O2 website.

I've also got a O2 signal booster at home so now got 100% signal so its not that.

My company is large enough to have its own dedicated O2 depart but they wont assist as I'm using an "unauthorised device"

Any ideas?

Can you download new data settings? Not sure with the model you're using but sound like it needs a carrier setting update.
