Hi PH

looking to get our grandparents a 4G tablet as they are currently shielding and missing the contact with us. they don't have and wont have broadband so needs to be 4G enabled (we will sort a contract for it)

not looking to spend much more than £200 really as it will be for weekly zoom calls with them

laptops are out of the question as they are technophobes

any help is gratefully received

Think the only decent one will be the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 4g if you can stretch to £250.

Or how about if you get a 4g dongle so can have WiFi at home then you can use any WiFi tablet or if it's just for video calling then that new Facebook portal thing they have been advertising on TV is cheap.

That SIM is a great deal, use it for travelling myself.

For the OP, that and a WiFi/MiFi ... such as this one:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XC16QC1/ref...

will allow a wifi tablet to be purchased for the rellys - and there are far more of them around than 4g ones (lot cheaper too).

I've been using that TP Link M7350 for nearly three years and it's been faultless.
