HP Photosmart Printer won’t print

I was hoping some of the whizzes on here might be able to give some pointers to fixing an issue for me please?
My HP7510 has a touchscreen display that usually has Print, Copy, Scan and maybe eFax on it. The Print icon has disappeared along with any ability to print anything. It is linked by USB to my tower PC (which I hardly use) and me and kids Bluetooth to it from iPad and phones usually without issue. It has been printing me a load of postage labels in the last few days. Now nothing.
I have tried:
Restoring factory defaults via the menu several times - no change.
Done a couple of hard resets where you power down remove all the wires and left it for a few hours.
I have run the HP online printer diagnostic tool and everything comes back with a tick and says it’s all OK
I have found the firmware on the HP website and Tried to install it via my PC which did nothing. I also downloaded the same 66Mb file onto an SD card which seems to be an .exe file. Popped that into the SD card slot again nothing. Powered printer up and down again nothing.
It’s looking to me like the firmware has corrupted, it’s quite a nice printer and fairly expensive for what little home use it gets. I don’t want to dump it if I can help it. Can anyone suggest a solution please?

Is the printer showing up in your network on your PC? Is it just Wired or can you connect with WIFI aswell?Can you print from your PC? eg Word doc.
Can you print from your phone / tablet via wifi (not BT)?
Have you updated the drivers aswell as the firmware?
All else fails-
Reset the all the printer settings back to factory defaults, and set up from scratch again.
Contact HP Support. They are usually quite good.
