Got two of these set up outsaide the house watching the foxes and hedgehogs. Down side is that once the batteries get below a certain level they refuse to go into IR mode but work ok in daylight, As a result i am throwing new batteries at them at least once a week and at 8 per camera it is getting expensive
They do have extl power socket 6V 2amps and i was wondering ,after looking through Ebay , thay could i get a splitter and run both of the one power unit? or would a more powerful (amps?) unit be reqd?
The other question is when looking at the etxn leads that want to know if it is a 2.1 or 2.4 centre. Is one more popular than the other. The web blurb doesn't mention to use either one,, just a 6V 2A power unit
