I've deleted my suggestion about this service because I've just had what appears to be malicious activity take place within 24hrs of signing up.

Windscribe.

There's also ProtonVPN.

The common consensus seems to be that free VPNs aren't secure. However I haven't had an issue with Windscribe but that doesn't mean your activity isn't being resold or misused in a way that you'd expect not to happen after using a VPN.

I use CyberGhost which has a free option (or used to) and a paid option. The free version disconnects every 3 hours. I find it reliable. I didn’t find Windscribe as reliable.

Nothing comes for free.

If you’re not the customer, you’re the product.

Using a paid for VPN = Must have something to hide = Being closely watched by the internet police = VPN supplier very likely has to supply a backdoor or keeps logs of activity

Good innit

Any proof of that....or just the usual internet bkss making claims without proof.

If it was as you said, why do you think there was such a big thing about Encrochat being broken and all the arrests that came with it? If companies whose whole business relies on giving users anonymity, were happily selling their PAYING customers for free to the authorities, how long do you think they would be in business for. Most of the big names have been going for a number of years now.
