Secure websites through Safari

Can anyone explain to me why I can't access any secure sites in Safari, running on Tiger OSX? Pages won't load and then it tells me I'm not connected to the internet, which is cobblers. Tried various permission & certificate changes without success.

Sounds like you need to ditch that unreliable Mac and get yourself a Windows PC.

Actually I do love my new iMac. A very very sexy bit of kit.

Sorted - set my DNS permissions up manually and that did the trick.
