Mac 2 monitor question.
Discussion
Morning.
I have a Mac pro with 2 x cinema displays. They've worked fine for 6 years. Today I switch on and one of them will not display.
The power is on, the other monitor can 'see it' in system preferences, I've swapped all the connections, done everything I can think of in the Display Settings, the USBs work on the back of it, I can change it from being the slave to the master screen, but it refuses to display - just a black screen.
If I disconnect the monitor that's working and boot with the problem one, the USBs on the back still work, the power light flashes (like it's in standby), and I just get a black screen.
Any ideas? Dead screed on a working monitor?
TIA.

If you shine a light in the monitor when it’s connected can you see anything at all? Had this on a monitor and could just about make out the corners of app/finder windows.
