Onedrive - Deleting pics on Phone

Hi all,

How do I switch off auto sync where if I delete a pic from my phone it doesnt delete it from onedrive ?

Ive just tried it, I uploaded a picture to onedrive, I then deleted it from my phone and the pic also deleted from onedrive / in the cloud.

I want to switch this off so that everything goes up to the cloud, then I can delete my pics on my phone and clear out space.

Cant you use a seperate file/photo manager to just delete the local file.
Then just set One Drive to not store offline?

Personally I use Google Photos. Then when ever you want a clearout just use Free Up Space, which deletes all local copies that are backed up in the cloud.

There's an option to "clean up space on your device" in the one drive app. That gets rid of local copies of images already backed up to your account.
Or there is on mine.
