Got a really frustrating problem.

I have Microsoft Outlook installed - it has two email accounts - personal (Gmail) & work.

I don't think Outlook works properly with Google Calendar, but it does with my work calendar - so Outlook only has my work calendar setup.

Every time I get a calendar invite to my personal account (Gmail), Outlook "reads" the event and add its to my calendar, too - but it adds it to the work calendar instead!

So someone sends me a calendar invite to my personal account, I get it and respond
But I also get a notification on my other devices that I've been invited to the same invite on my work account - when I haven't been. Outlooks just added to "its" calendar.

If I reject this meeting, the recipient then gets a response from my work account, who they never invited.

This is made worse by having two PCs with Outlook on (work PC, personal PC) which duplicates the whole lot - so one calendar invite, appears as three separate events I have to respond to.

I came across what seemed like the perfect fix here - https://kb.uwm.edu/uwmhd/page.php?id=45596 - except it hasn't worked.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's Outlook doing it?

There is a setting on Google Calendar: "Automatically add events from Gmail to my calendar"

It's definitely Outlook - for a start google calendar has no credentials for the work email account.

Who even has calendar invites to a personal email?
