Hi all

Currently with BT BB which is excellent and the router good but as per the norm, they are putting my hill up from 30 to 35 quid which is annoying especially as new customers get it for the old price.

I've heard good things about Zen Internet so anyone o. Here use them?

You happy?

Is the router any good? The BT router is very good.

Yes use them personally and for years used them for site office lines they are great to deal with. As for router mixed bag. Allows you to do more than the bt router but WiFi isn't the best but can be configured to a mesh setup like the by discs.

Parents used them back in the day. All good then.

I am into my second year now myself. Just upgraded from Fibre Unlimited 1 to Fibre Unlimited 2. So up from £30 to £35.

Dearer than most but the router is very good imo, speeds are met, and Customer Service is good, plus their Online Portal has all the info you could need.

I did consider changing but on balance I am happy to pay the extra for the service received.

eta some detail - wifi only has a small area to cover so no issues. Upgrade as above was from 40/10 to 80/20 . . . . In reality was obtaining 36/9 upgraded to obtaining 72/18. Only for me so speeds arguably greater than I need!

I'm with Zen, currently pay £49.99/mo for G.Fast 150/20 which is a bit on the steep side, but I'm not in a VM area so can't get cable, and the line is only rated to 220mb over G.Fast according to the diagnostic box the OpenReach engineer used, so pointless me paying for 300/50 when it won't get anywhere near that. There is no FTTH/FTTP option where I live either which means speeds approaching gigabit are completely off the table.

The Fritz router they supply is pretty good, but its wireless performance isn't the best I've ever experienced - so much so that I've had to purchase an additional Fritz wifi repeater to get a decent 5ghz signal upstairs.
