I'm unsure if my internet provider (virginmedia) is the issue here but when I try to access the swva website I get returned, on a blank screen:

WordPress Backup & Security Plugin - BlogVault Firewall

Blocked because of Malicious Activities

Now I've never had this before and it's only happening on that one website (www.swva.co.uk). Started yesterday. They replied to an email saying it is not their end. I would suspect a virus but I get the same error on my Android phone. If I turn wifi off (but 4G is crap here), I can connect to the website OK, which is weird.

All my searching on the web has been fruitless and virginmedia are on limited response still. Before I kick up a fuss, is it their doing blocking it for some reason? The error message seems aimed at a web hosters, I do not have a website of my own. Confused.....confused

Fine here on Chrome and Virginmedia too.
Turn off any plugins/extensions and try it again.
Also, run a decent malware program like Malwarebytes.

I'm installing a free VPN to see if that helps. If it's malware on my laptop, why the same error message on my Android phone? I suppose my hub could have been infected.

ProtonVPN (free) installed, I can access the website straight away. It does appear that Virginmedia are blocking it for my hub for some reason!

Your IP address has been blocked by their firewall because it thinks you have been indulging in some naughtiness ( https://blogvault.supporthero.io/article/show/7741...) - you can tell this by your phone working OK on 4G but not on wifi. You're being blocked by something on the server end so there won't be anything you can do short of getting yourself off whatever list you've been put onto.

If it's in error then I suspect it will sort itself out soon enough. It's not impossible however that something inside your network is compromised and is being used to remotely attack or scan other systems so you should definitely give every device you have a thorough shakedown for viruses and other malware.

Ah I see. It's the SWVA server that thinks my IP address is out of order and therefore blocked for some reason?? I've never had that appear before or since on any other website. Also, if I search on google for specific pages on the swva website, I can access them, but nothing through the front page.
